Ha!, as what timing! Got an email from a friend in FLA, about this coming. And I have a old friend, in Ft. Walton Beach! Rides Harleys, great wife, damn good old friends, too bad 3000 miles away, but we are "nation wide"anyway!..heres the story..

Boat Week parties start Wednesday August 11th at Helen Back on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, and continue through Sunday, with a Crab Island Raft up party, water ski show and a free Lynyrd Skynyrd concert at Boardwalk on the Beach. We'll have Poker Run headquarters set up again in the lobby of the Ramada Beach Resort, so c'mon by, get registered and join in on the nations biggest summer poker run, benefiting the Emerald Coast Foundation!

I watch that linked Emerald Coast Run, vid again, I posted. DAMN....I CANNOT afford gas for some them boats, the girls look at me like a old man now..(age is a gift, open it VERY slowly, but always..use the fine "China", the silverware, in life!"), but this came to mind....

Yep, me too. The "innards", are doing fine, but the "bones", and energy, have "left the building". My broken shoulder, needs a replace, but still good to go, as can rope start a 20 Johnson, that likes to kick back...I can't get in any more fights, unless "little people!..and my "Axe swing days", chopping wood are over! Something hurts daily, but trudge on. Guess I'm blessed though, as lost MANY friends, way to young, way too many on motorcycles...(saw another bike crash the freeway today..looked ugly)..and I have gave up road riding for good, after 51 years, as done a few "bounce the pavement myself", but I don't "bounce well", anymore. Still ride our private 5 here though..getting ready to fire my Harley Shovelhead chopper, go piss off the neighbors..(who love me, for old, and still.."Crazy!"...best I can say, is if ya wake up, "groan", and do it again!..Slowly!
