Boating Boca Grande Pass, FL

On Sat I lowered small boat, the 2004 23 ft Stingray 230LX, 350magMPI/Bravo1, off the lift, and went down Charlotte Harbor to one of many stretches of beach at the Northern tip of Cayo Costa island, along Boca Grande Pass. The air temp was 91, the heat index was 100, and the Gulf Water temp was 90. Round trip was about 50 miles.

Head further north towards Ski Alley Englewood tomorrow and come hang out with a bunch of us S&Fers, always a good time!!!

The S&F crew, always has a good time. Freinds of mine (Don & Amanda - 30 Motion) went on the Cabbage Key event in winter/spring. They had a great time, and said next time I need to consider going also.

I was there (Ski Alley Englewood ) by boat a few years ago. It is a very pretty spot. I have other commitments tomorrow, perhaps another time. How navigable is Stump Pass these days for my big boat, the Skater 308 T/300XS?

i think i might launch from the placida ramp next time and see if i can find it from there im pretty sure the ramp at beach road is really close
