I need ROCK...(missed the first Woodstock, as in Vietnam, but...well, never be the same, but good bands anyway!)..(and the girls still "get topless!"..look at 25/6/7 seconds in!)

I'm still digging here, but back to Sheryl Crow, shes a freaking doll. Married an idoit, had breast cancer, but the girl rocks. I will make sure, "Will" done, Bro/Sis get my junk, but at my demise, the "Memorial"...?...I will slip in a note, to show the vid coming up, and LOUD! I have done enough funerals, ..with "Amazing Grace"..(and been blessed with it, decades)..I got darn good Angels!

I want THIS, shown, when I'm "feet up, casket...and thats/this..where I will end up, after life..some darn BEACH!

Oh yeah..my think is the US went "south", somewhere 73/75. Turned into china doing what we once did, manipulated stock market, lost the Nam war..(not really, 2nd place, but the jerks in power, in suits, said, "get out".

They stopped all the "Muscle Cars", ..INS...into little boring cages, .."gets good gas mileage!..."...(if it don't make NOISE, open headers", BIG CUBES MOTOR,.whats the sense of going?"

Killing 12 beers the corner tavern? COOL! Ya find yer way home, or a cop would find ya, say.."Ya been drinking?..where do ya live?..if ya can drive, follow me, I know where ya live....."NOW?...do 4 beers, ride the lonely road home from our corner..(9 miles back), and the cops wait, and then now? 5 YEARS yer life, $5/6 grand lawyers, and ya did zip wrong. Ya know what the cop cars should say the side?

NOT.,."serve and protect"..its ..ready..."SERVE AND COLLECT".

And fast boats are next, and snowmobiles too...slowed down, or outlawed..say good bye the fastest motors made too, the old 2 cycle "screamer's", be it a sled, boat, jetski, fast dirt-bikes, and start tuning in yer guns too.., as ya could hurt somebody.. (the point of owning one is?..)

OK, yer asking..what the hell does this have to do with .."old songs"

Listen to the 20's/30/40/50/60/70..and no more. Blues artist. The 20's "swing dancing", the rock, 'till the 70's. Elvis!.,.Buddy Holly.....DAMN...all the best gone, rest carry the "torch"....but too many..replaced with crap music, 90%, somewhere after..."1969", and a few more years.....(glad I was there, the REAL stuff, real time, REAL everything, and REAL PEOPLE!..Ya know what I mean , if old enough.....(age, bB$$tch to acquire, hell to maintain!

..(PS..only 60, blood mine runs well into the 80's/90's. ..not ready for the rocker yet...but 10/15 years from now, it will be fun to laugh the news, as will still TELLING the problem, but ZERO.."solutions"..

Gordon Lightfoot is a good stuff. Summertime Dream is one of my all time favorite albums. On one of my drives to Alaska I must have played it 400 times back to back.

Ya can't beat the scenery, the ride, but 400 times? Fun to get lost on space, on the "road" good tunes in the ear, right! (funny too, this thread started Gorden Lightfoot!
