Also , should say, I was shipped overseas, to Germany, in 1970. Still in the service. I was the Battalion "welder", had my own Deuce and a 1/2, towing the gas fired welder, truck bed, the "red and green". Had to do the month in "Graf..(those who there. know what spoke here)..training exercise.
So, we come back to Hanue, the "autobahn", chugging along at 65..(ya had BETTER be in the right lane)..and I gotta take a whiz. My helper, riding right seat, tell him.."steer", I gotta whiz". So I lock the hand throttle open..(to use the trucks air compressor, PTO, etc)..and I open the door at 65, and let it fly!
Then, back in the cab, its dark, I see a pin point of light in the mirror. (say me..this sucker if flying!)
Well, he flashed the lights, twice, which there meant.."gonna pass ya".
HOLY CRAP..if he was NOT DOING 200MPH, it was close, to, 199!. heres some vid, how THEY ride FAST... and it aint .."55"!.

Heres something, me..planning a B Day party..read on..words out!..

"..June 13th, Sunday, is by 60th Birthday, all I know, neighbors, friends, old and new, invited here, at the house, will be in the back, in the shop, and front yard fire pit, or all over, take over the Carlyon Beach park/marina?..or in the boats?..who cares. All welcome, and if ya see way too many motorcycles in front...?...well, ya be at the right place. BYOB/F, grills will be fired, john for the girls, trees and bushes, the guys. If ya wanna get wasted.. plan the tent, stay 'till morning..as its 9 miles back to to HWY 101..cops love ya for money.. late night, and zip else to do anyway.. Have a side yard, 60 by 120, all grass, and room in front my yard too. Damn right, fire pits, side lot, and front...will be fired.. ..wanna stay, bring a tent. Cool with me. Toss a log on, spill the BS, ya all come up with, ..(I should hide recorders?"..HA!..heard it years anyway..)
Lets celebrate my 60th, as never thought I would get out of Nam, alive, 41 years ago. The damn Doc, mine, my age?. I can still kick his ass, and tell's me.."why you live, doing what you do, is amazing"....
Anyway, spread the word, FRIENDS, and want it a sorta "private" party"..people I know, not those I do not..unless good friends yers..(the bikers)..don't make me bring out the short barrel, pistol grip shotgun..for.."Click Click"?.."BEHAVE!". Ya know what I mean...Robby..ya back east friends?....ya invited too, but know damn well ya won't show up, so just send me boat gas money!
More later, as gets closer..(Keith..!.. BE HERE with Johnny boy..need ya two run "security' OK? I wanna have fun, and not worry, and I know, you two will watch over..ya two can crash in the house.. As I think about it, when I bought my last house, in Illinois, 1986, had a big house warming party. Had a 1/2 acre. A band, BIG 20 foot across bonfire, figure 300 people then. Damn, I ran around, me and the GF then.."knock it down a notch", and the band, were all a biker club. They were also to do "security". 13 hard riding dudes, and did damn good, playing "Chuck Berry, old tunes"..guess who got in a fight late night?.. THEM...each other!
I see any BS here, my "Day"..well, ya know me..simply behave. ,,(kinda)..I'll stand up a sec, any BS..solve it quick.Anyway, more later here.. hang, be well......"
