BUT..can ya dance Mark??...(kidding!)....been out all day gearheads here, the 35 Chevy is back out the shop, Mustang front clip, 502 motor in..soon ready for paint..and a dude with a 33 Chev PU..327 vette motor, be a frame off, slammed, chopped, ya know what I mean! Got some pix..not the new PU though..(also he's doing a 49 Olds)....."gotta love the Gearheads, and both are married?...and the women put up with us?..(yep, we got "Sues", here too..great girls...put up with us out in the shop, and still, ..the ..show up.."heres some Hotdogs, and anyone need a beer?"..gotta love a good women, who tolerates our sorry azz!

PS Sue,..swear, I got a tear in my eye ferya..ya old days, the gearhead (Phil)..ya put up with, because ya loved him, and he showed ya the way...us idiots, ..midnite the "shop"...and why its so fun!..WHY?..we donno....but when, we were "knuckle deep into a motor, late nite, knuckles bleeding", ....and the door opened, the shop?... "the girl showed up..".."COME TOO BED,..!" n

Robby, I'm laughing!!! If I told Phil come to bed when he was working on a motor (especially his race motor) he would look at me like I was nuts!!! I would leave the shop, go home cook dinner, drive dinner back down to him and go home. For maybe the first 5 years I would hang out in the shop till the wee hours of the morning with him, but then I stopped unless we were getting ready for a race. He would open in the morning and be there till like 1 2 or 3am, he was a workaholic. I gotta admit, it was fun though sometimes I would even bake apple pies in the shop, there was a toaster oven in the back, or I would cook breakfast in the back on a skillet...people would come to the shop after 5 because they knew he would be workin on something, that's how I got to know how to tear down a motor and put it back together from nearly living in the shop. Forget about the time I almost killed myself cleaning the grease out of the boat with prepsol!!! Oh well, I could look back and laugh, come to bed, he would say what's that...
