Sad..sorry to hear that...(had an old HS friend, years planning, took a month off, rode the RT 66 on a bike. Last year,. Plan was,to be in Long Beach/Santa Monica pier, for the 4th July. Did it!..but coming back, state escapes...lost it on a curve..last pic off him camera, was the curve he was killed on..never take pix at speed on a bike...and a real good dude..has a blog the whole trip...daily, have to find it. Young, left a wife, and 2 damn good kids.

Again, sorry yer brother..but to "dream it", and not do it, is a lot better than .."never having a dream"..

That is a pretty good unknown movie, and that is the highlight of the whole movie.....Steve actually played both parts.....(I'm gonna go back and watch it now, its been a long time)

For those who never saw the movie, its called Crossroads, and the kid is playing for his soul against the devil's top "Headcutter"

The song he won with was a song that got him in trouble in music school because he took a song by Bach or somebody like that, and rocked it like he did in the video...his teacher was pissed.....

I saw BB King last year, and it was GREAT!

Buddy Guy was supposed to open for him.....(how cool is that), but when we get there, some local band is opening....oh well, I got to see BB King....

He is gettin old, and I wanted to see him once while he can still do it....and HE DID!... He was actually funny, and had us laughin 1/2 of the time.....

And its hard to beat a BB King guitar face, when he hits certain chords........that made me laugh too....I would go again if he was close.

I don't think I have ever heard a bad version of Little Wing......those girls did a different, but good version too.....they were kinda hard to look at though.....

I get up at noon, do nothing for 2 hours on the puter, 2 cups coffee, by 3 say.."DO SOMETHING!"

Then get wound up, and what happens the next few hours, is .."explore"..the "lope"..

Gotta admit, damn good thread started!..and I can tell ya now...I got another 300 pages to add!

Going a roll here..(doc says, ya got 4 more weeks, that shoulder!...I'm one scary SOB, AFTER 5 MPH, bikes and boats...but stay away from me, when walking under 5 MPH?)..I'll trip on the dock, fall into ya, and YOU, end up in the water!
