Just got off the phone with my bud, Rick Smith, lives a couple blocks from me. Who plays bass in a CCR tribute band. Open for some great groups, and play the Casino's, major events, etc, on there own.
They are playing right up the road, Fri/Sat/Sun night, at the Lucky Eagle Casino. Said come on up, I'm backstage, again, like always. Always fun to watch the crowd, from THAT direction! Plus I like free "pass in". Dunno why, but everytime I do that, I feel like the either the "Blues Brothers..we are with the band", or the 3 Stooges ..the 3 go in somewhere, the buttons, Moe "PRESS"..go on in..Larry.."Press"..go on in..Curly?.."PULL"
They just got back from a gig in Tucson, AZ. Says LOTS on Mexicans were there, but cool, and bought the band free drinks! Seems even the "Mex", like CCR!

Anyway, heres a link..check out some of there music. "Good stuff!"

Rick is the top right hand side photo, and below, in the middle. All good people! Just aint letting CCR die...as its was some of the best music created!

I need to stop over there, see what he has on the puter..etc..but, like anyone else, they want to be paid, for the entertainment..but I got a way in, and the free advertisement, always helps. Its up to the band..I'll do what I can...

My friend can really sing Beatles songs but he says that Oh Darling is by for the hardest, it kills his voice!

He'd have more, but the house is loaded now, and "mama"..says .."ENOUGH"..go play with the band!..(like in bring home MONEY this time!"..(but how many black bears, with "bow"?..and the stuffed others, Racs, Turkeys, he has it all...thats only a few pix!..
