I'm in a music mood tonight, I can't sleep...

Being the holiday season is around the corner, and I am sitting here, thinking about my son, missing him, and wanting him to COME HOME FROM CALIFORNIA...this song just popped in my head, when he was young he gave me this song on a single tape for Mother's Day....I always loved it, so for all of you who love your mom, you would appreciate it too!! I can't allow myself to go to deep in thought with missing my son, because that won't be good...I have learned how to BlOCK things out.

None yet but it looks pretty murky out...I have to go out in a minute and try and start the snow blower, I just wanted a minute of happy time before I start fighting with it.

Thanks Sue, I try to find stuff that's out of the ordinary. We have Bon Jovi and Bruce a few miles away and they like to get out in the public and mingle. I saw Bon Jovi at a local ice cream shop with his kids, I just said hi as I walked by. My nephew sat next to Bruce and his kids at the local movie theater. Bruce use to walk into the local bars and play often, not so much the last few yrs though.

Thats cool when that happens. My brother was in a small bar in Minneapolis and Ray Sawyer from Dr.Hook walked in and started playing the piano. My brother bought him a beer and talked to him for a while.

I was at a local Jersey shore bar one night with two girls I knew, they were driving, and Clarence Clemmons was their for his birthday. Everyone knew Bruce would show up and wouldn't you know the girls wanted to go to a hot Disco bar, sure as hell I find out the next day that Bruce showed up and played for two hrs. This wasn't that big of a place, it held maybe 150 people, talk about missing out on a front row seat!
