Nice find. I have to agree with your son...assuming their in acceptable condition. Can you post some more pics. Especially the rear seating and hatches.

that's one of the better looking 21's I've seen. congratulations. I would also like to see some pictures of the rear seat. i've been thinking of having something fabricated but haven't quite decided whether i have enough room back there or not.

    Paramount

Will do. I picked the boat up yesterday and only have used it to sea trial it. The boat is slow by this sites standards. With 4 adults and 3/4 tank of gas it would do 55 mph at 5700 rpms. The previous owner kept it immaculate. But did not know or care about pitch etc...It also has a removable ski tripod. I will take pics of the rear seat. That was one option I had seen on my nephews Competition and always liked. The seat completely removes by taking two pins out and the top comes off with two hand knobs mounted to the top of the transom. Will get picks up this weekend.

Congrats man. Great looking boat. I'd love to see it sometime. Especially the rear seat, setback, and ski tripod setups. I'm thinking of doing the same thing all at once. Bigger motor, add a setback, and put a rear seat in the splash well that can triple up as storage, a cutting deck for fishing, or a ski tripod.

I'm sure we'll run into each other here in the bay. I'm out there just about every weekend. Marina of choice for me is Matheson.

    Paramount

Story that I got is that all of this was done at Paramount. The boat came this way from the factory. No idea if it is true since I do not have the build sheet. Who ever did it, it looks factory done. I still wish I could have got that yellow one that you had.

    Paramount rear seat pictures

Sorry it took so long. Here are a few pics of the rear seat. It really is a pretty good idea. Going to try and load it up and lift that front out of the water.

I think they closed earlier this year or late last year don't know exact date. Its a shame. Not too many people buying new boats these days though so it doesn't surprise me as it was a small company. I think some other boat maker bought their molds though and is making a similar design, I can't speak about the quality as I have never seen one.

My paramount with the current engine a 97 Yamaha 225 EFI will do over 60 had it 62 one time. But it starts to chine walk at about 60. This is without any modifications, bottom paint and t-top as you see in the above picture (but diff engine). I plan on sanding off the bottom paint and recoating the bottom with a teflon based coating. I think I am losing alot of speed right now as the bottom feels like course sandpaper. Its just on a list of a lot of other projects and not really a priority so who knows when I will get to it.
