OK so today is the 29th anniversary of John lennons death. Must be some good songs to pay tribute to him. I am at work so I cant post vids but thought someone else might

As long as people keep watching do-it yourself TV programs,I will have work to do. Been fixing projects people started and screwed up all week. Hey, ya kids back East?...getting cold yet? Snow? Sleds ready? Had 48 hours of constant wind here from the east, feeding the "beast"..SoCal had buckets of rain, blizzards after the mountains...WINTER COMING.."at ya!"

Getting cold a 3" dusting the other day and tonight should be about 6 more.
Lakes still open though.

Were lookin at 12-16 inches of white stuff with a blizzard warning through midnight wed. 45 mph wind and 15 degrees. 30 below wind chill. Got pot-belly cranked up and a pile of wood at my feet. Takin a snow day tomorrow...Bring it on!

On John Lennon...remember the Beatles well, from day one..at 14, 1964, doing homework at the dining room table, "transistor radio on'...when "I wanna hold yer hand"..came on, it was DANCE! Seems most remember Paul, with that great voice, but John was the "brains", the "thoughts"..any song. Dunno ya all, but there will be ever again..another.."Beatles"...

Cold is a coming!..as only Dec 8th, give it 3 weeks..froze lakes..(damn, I miss sledding on solid froze lakes!
Out here, its just mountain powder.."not thats theres anything wrong with that!"...but a frozen lake, "studs and Nitrous"....

Have a friend, old Weldshop foreman from work Illinois, lives in Manitowish Waters, northern WIS. Just east ya. He keeps me up on weather back there. IF NOT, I can tell, when spring, ice goes to water, and I don't get zip off him, emails..."yeah, he has 2 boats two!"

I am so ready for the snow. Sled up at the lake full tank ready to go. Getting itchy now.
