FRIDAY-SATURDAY...GUIDANCE CONTINUES TO AGREE ON EJECTING SOUTHERN
STREAM LOW PRESSURE OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST AND PHASE IT WITH A NORTHERN
STREAM SHORTWAVE IN THE PLAINS ON FRIDAY. THIS TURNS THE UPPER FLOW
OVER NEW ENGLAND FROM WEST TO SOUTHWEST AND DRAWS MOISTURE UP OVER
THE NORTHEAST FRIDAY. BOTH THE GFS AND ECMWF SUGGEST THE REMAINS OF
RICK WILL MERGE WITH THIS SYSTEM LATER IN THE WEEK. SUFFICIENT
ISENTROPIC LIFT OF THIS WARM MOIST AIR /PERCEPTIBLE WATER VALUES
FORECAST AROUND 1.5 INCHES/ OVER A COOLER MARINE LAYER OVER US.
TIMING OF THIS LIFT LOOKS TO BE AROUND OR AFTER 06Z
SATURDAY...GENERALLY AFTER MIDNIGHT FRIDAY NIGHT. BASED ON THE
CONSISTENT HANDLING AND TIMING OF THIS SYSTEM BY THE MODELS...WITH
COLD FROPA SATURDAY NIGHT...WE WILL STAY WITH LIKELY POPS.
SUNDAY-MONDAY...HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN. EXPECT DRY WEATHER.Living in the Freedom provided by Bud Conner and his fellow warriors.

Starting to look pretty good for Sunday
All the models are beginning to agree and seems like each model run brings a better forecast.
Saturday forecast is still a mess, but even that has improved somewhat.Living in the Freedom provided by Bud Conner and his fellow warriors.

We're still taking no chances, dispatching the blimp for a look. Spent most of the budget on the rebuild, so had to improvise with replacement weather instuments.

There was a bit of crap floating in the river last night, but not too bad.
Hopefully the rain coming Friday/Saturday does not add anthing else.
A few shot for everyone. The foliage is nearly peek...
The first shot is easy, anyone want to take a guess were the others are from? They are from the same local.Last edited by For Now; 10-21-2009 at 02:15 PM.
