He has been overseeing the build as others have stated and the improvement is very dramatic. If you have a problem getting to him, let me know. I used to build his website and we were a dealer so I typically can get him. He is very busy.

This contracting deal is what got the Mullins boat a bad reputation in the begining ,as there was no apparent quality control going on between the Mirage Boats ,and the actual builder .

I know for a fact that mike is building them in house, I have been there and seen his operation.

I had an accident with my 94 ski racer and took it to him for repair, he did an excellent job and I must say that I was well satisfied with his attitude and doing business with him. In fact he was very honest and helpful with what I needed done.

He and I discussed the former problems he had when he contracted the work out, he realized there was a problem and now does the work himself.

He doesn't advertise or even look at Scream & Fly due to the bashing and comments made by some of its members.

In my opinion he's a good guy to do business with, & is doing quality work. I would recommend if you are interested in a Mirage you call him. If I can locate some pisc I will try & post before & after pics of my boat.
