keano - glad I could help out sir Old mate is also good with the back up service should anything go astray down the track. My mate found one of the seals leaking on his ram so he put in a call and got told to send it up ASAP. He sent it off the Monday before the Bridge race...and got it back on the Wednesday morning! Nice to see service can exist in our country

As for driving it, the more seat time you have, the better you'll get. If you're out by yourself, it doesn't hurt to put a couple of weights on the observer's side to help give you better weight balance...

woodduck - the guy that's now selling the Torqueshift props told me that they were good for about 3,200rpm at the prop before they got a bit manky. I can't figure out why you threw a blade

It's a shame they aren't made of more heavy duty material. A 13-32 would be a weapon for MOC racing.

Got to take the gearbox ratio in consideration, 3200 x 1.87 = 5984

    What about a Bullet Class?

I reckon there should be a Bullet circuit race.Handicaps for the slower boats and trophies for classes i.e. 1600,1650,1700,1750 etc and outright trophy. There are so many of you guys that it would be fun to see a regatta of Bullet boats somewhere on the water. You could even have a national comp.

    bullet racing

Would love that however their are only a small amount of bullets in North QLD i would say from Brisbane south would be the go and that would be too far for me to drive on a regular basis. Another reason why i love bullets is their rare in NQ AND I,M THE ONLY ONE WITH A 1850

Back in the late 80"s there was an Australian Hot Boat Magazine, that's where I read about my bullet, had some decent articles. Especially one edition, talked about these crazy dudes who were putting turbo's on small blocks, turbo mechs in FNQ and they come up with Gotta Be Crazy and another equally sick boat, can't think what it was at present.
