    Yeah, I would love to see some of those pics of that restore...

    It's unfortunate and ironic that the foam holds all that water. As for the area under the pedastal mounts. That's a tough area for most boats, mine didn't have any foam and because no real seal was used it was rotton too. However, my stringers and transom are perfect 23 years later.
    Boats love hundred dollar bills.

    I’ll post some Pics later but what we do in a resto is glue the floor down with epoxy resin mixed with a micro adhesive filler and weight the floor before glassing it in. After glassed in we put an inspection plate in floor and through bolt the pedestals.

    That's what either Velocity or someone else did. So I kept the inspection plates in and through bolted as well. I also added an additional support between the ribs. Now those pedastals are rock solid.

    Hey, I also found the tear down thread!! It shows alot of the rotton wood that was torn out, the grinding and prep work before the Mantex stringers and floor was installed;

    Here you can see the epoxy mixed with West 404 filler to a peanut butter consistency awaiting the floor sections to be weighted in to place.

    Hey JamesGang, I still have my Pulsare. Here's a couple links to recent pictures and a 75 MPH pass at the Jupiter Sandbar.

    Facebook becomes addicting...wait and see how many people you've forgotton about come back to life!! It's a great way of keeping in touch with family and friends...and you can post pictures!! The boating in Jupiter FL is great. You have access to the intercoastal water way, the back country, and the open ocean. We have an inlet right in Jupiter, an inlet about 45 minutes north in St. Lucie and an inlet about 35 minutes south at Palm Beach inlet. There are lots of sandbars that become completely exposed at low tide to pull up on and party.

    Well after an 8 hour day working about 150 feet from the bay, watching a few streams, superboats, and a 22 progression making some fast passes, I decided its time to start working on this thing again. Pushed it back into the garage, and mocked up and drilled all the plating for the jack plate. I will do the finishing touches tomoro, and mount everythign up tuesday night. Hopefully another 2-3 weeks of a few hours a night in the garage and I will see what this thing can do

    I still have to shape these up a little bit
