Boy when you gonna learn... Ask your ol man whos truck does he take when he has to take a customers boat to the water (even when the bote is 18ft long) My ol mans 05' Ford F-250. Doesnt wanna take that Wussy azz Chevy of his. You've never driven a Ford with any of the new motors have ya... (05 and newer)

At work back in the day we had a 89' F-250 with a 460bb doning all of the boat haulin, that thing would haul 35'+ Sportcraft boats with no strain. That truck had more leaf springs over one axle than a chevy 3/4 combined. My ol man got rear ended by a Honda POS car thats going 40+ pushing that truck into a chevy truck (parked) then both the Ford and Chevy slid into a Trans Am (parked) and that Ford truck was the only one able to drive away (frame was bent slightly but was later straightend)

Most people don't know what Ford has done, here is a good page on it that was in the paper here too:

Ford is not always the best truck motor, but I can tell you a whole lot of retirees have PSDs in front of their 5th wheels. Hard to beat an international designed by Cummins. Ford says they did the new 6.0/6.4 but not sure about that. The Dodge Cummins is a great motor too, though some years down on power. Problem is you can't keep an auto trans in them, or any other Dodge except the newest ones I don't have any experience with. I still can't forgive GM for that 6.5 diesel, the biggest cluster pile ever put in a truck....and you could not keep a trans in those either, or injection pump, or AC pump, or brakes, or.....

    Ford

They finally got the 3.5L in the cars, that was way late but now they can be competitive. The Taurus is built off a Volvo platform and has very high safety ratings, quality ratings are quite high for many models....got the Mustang pumping...they are not in too bad a spot. Problem is nobody will buy cars if they can't get loans. This banking thing is such a loser deal, they still are just screwing us so bad. Where is the next multi-Billion dollar bailout or ripoff? That is about all I think these days.

I just read housing starts are lower than they have ever recorded, they think last time it was this low is WWII! Banks are hoarding.

Ford even has a new truck, but of course that is being ignored with gas prices and now no advertising or buying of cars is allowed.
