I don't know if these two shots are the same boat as in Dkerns second post...but the first I took in Old Forge (NY) a few years ago, the other is an article from Hot Boat.

That Veocity with the twins has to 90 plus wouldn't you think? I would think moving the gas tank and batteries forward in that boat would be a great help, you can see how high the bow sits.

There were no speeds quoted because back in the mid '90s GPS speedos were huge $$$ . We got tired of babysitting the speedo pickups, running the Hudson w/all the crap in th water. They would only work for a few mins. before plugging up, bending or tearin off completely. I would say the Velo ran very high 90s or more. He could spin the 2.5s 8100rpm w/30p cleavers anytime. cm
