Alright, I'll admit, I find this video to be interesting and very entertaining. Watch the very first one (lower right - "durability")

That Yota's bed looks as if it's held on with rubberbands! WTF? I'd buy American over that Jap crap anyway, regardless of the tests.

Now if Ford would only build some decent engines and some style, they might have something. Gotta love that superior jap engineering

To me a ford is like a democrap, good out of the gate but falls short going up the hill.

I did get a kick out of watching the Turdyoda, looked like a duck running down the road.

Ford falls short under the hood, I've heard a lot of disapointing things about reliability and lack of power. The good engines were the old 300 inline six and the 351.

what do you mean? the toyota looks AWESOME!

Of course this is a Ford Video, so you wont see the same close-ups of the ford you do on the chevy and toyota, but none the less the toyota looks like its going to rip in half.

You can here the Ford guys talk about how great their truck is on this one. Notice when they show all three trucks at once the differnece on the "zoom" of the camera from the chevy and toyota to the ford. LOL

Greg are those the videos that you are referring to? I cant view any videos from work. That's Fords marketing material, but even still that toyota looks like a peice of garbage.

The new ['09] F150 has gotten some great independent reviews.

Every since they got "Twinkle Toed" Bill Ford out of there [he is back to leading Gay Rights marches] the new guy has improved the quality quite a bit over the '06-'08s.
There are still questions to be answered as to alternator life and engine/powertrain quality.

we just got a F250 to plow snow [school parking lot] and my first impression was the the box, fenders, and sides are the thinest metal I've ever seen on a vehicle. One week old,and already dented!
    why ask me ?

the 08's are CRAP.... i maintain a whole utility rental fleet and the 08 superdutys we have seen so far are a joke.. the 09's are a bit beefier but they arent as sturdy in body panel construction as the 99-04's that are comming through auction lines and being retired from our fleet.. and the 07-08 interiors dont hold up very well either compared to the older ones in fleet use... to many clips not enough fasteners

4-16-2014. 25 years old today... the fishin boat doesnt look to bad for a classic does she

things that were are no longer as they are today...
