External water hoses on F1 engines
Guys
I have noticed F1 engines these days put a fitting in the top of the block and run 2 hoses down into each head between 3-5 and 4-6
Is this to try to dump any air out to get a solid water flow around the cylinders ( without dropping pressure) or add a bit of cool water over 5 and 6? ( with air in it or both)
Thanks
( yes I might be going to dark side in a carby 2.5 steel sleeve on a one piece, tunnel boat)
