As most of you know (3rd Sunday in Oct ) Oct 18 is the date .

Important !!!
Because of the actions of some people there will be a heavy Police/DEEP/Coast Guard presence all along the river this year There were MANY complaints last year about No Wake Zone violations .

Also at the beach we need to keep 1/2 the river clear for general navigation . There will be officers there to advise you . Authorities will be monitoring this thread so if you have any questions just ask .

Launch where you want (Pete be posting a list of sites from Old Saybrook north to Hartford) and we will meet at a beach (just north of the Rocky Hill Ferry) at noon for pizza . We'll head north to Hartford around 2 pm and then back to wherever you launched from .
