    I kind of like the cone centering idea. Takes the splines or taper out of the equation. Only machine I can think of with a small enough arbor to fit thru the hole is for a motorcycle axle / wheel.
    Might check with some of the bike shops that do a lot of custom wheels, Harley's .. etc.

    This poor wheel needs more than balancing ...

    my 29$ static balancer arrived [thanks to ski]. its heavy still in the box. no wd 40, only silicone' ill report wont do a 40a f wheel, 16a wheel it can sense the weight of a 5/16''nut, nice unit,built in bubble level, adjustable base

    LOL .. Yup, after watching it again and seeing the hub and disc oscillating. I'd say that he didn't take much "set-up" time. Then at the end he said, if he had any weights he would balance the wheel. Lets go of it and it rotates 180* to the bottom.
    Maybe it's a good thing he didn't have any weight's ...

    Cool machine though. I see a couple of them sold for $250 - $400 on various auction sites... not bad for $3k machine. I wish I had known about these a few years ago.
