    Fuse connection?

Where does the 20 amp fuse above the switchbox plate connect? I’ve looked at drawing but can’t figure out what that symbol is. On the old solenoid trim harness, I left it unhooked and didn’t get power to anything. I hooked it to starter solenoid since I didn’t have a 12 volt source on the coil plate with trim relays. Now everything works.

Fyi, I found a relay harness and trim works right now…thanks everyone.

the other end? I know it goes into harness. Does it go to 8 pin plug then key switch? How does it kill everything. Also there’s a red female pigtail coming out of harness. Does the fuse wire split inside harness?

Not sure what your asking. The fuse protects the power in the harness going forward to key switch. It connects to solenoid where primary cable from battery connects.

On a fishing 2.5 the fuse gets its power from the trim solenoid mounted between the coils. With relays it connects to starter solenoid with the main battery cable. It provides power to the trim switches to activate the solenoids. But it does not provide the main power to the solenoids themselves.
