The Swampers the Studio Musicians in rural northwest Alabama (near Mississippi & Tennessee) who played on famous albums.
Artists that have recorded there were: Cher, Willie Nelson, Duane Allman, Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Rod Stewart and many more.
"Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers" -- Sweet Home Alabama.

In the 1990s, I had to take a trip there. And I can attest to how rural the area was. Out in the middle of nowhere, and yet Iconic Music was recorded there by the Locals.
