saw some stuff on Wild Goose long time ago , it was very nice inside , something special about one of those side doors to the side deck child proofed the passageway to keep small ones inside while underway . 136' way back then was a big deal at a time when very few private Yachts were over 100 .
one other converted mine sweeper was " Calipso " Jaque Custo's ( sp ) famous Vessel from his TV show , my Favorite as a young lad , spoiled me on the whole Expidition cruising deal , I mean , what a life ! I must have been about 5-6 yr old watching about a 12" Zenith B & W .
little trivia , why were the mine sweepers made out of wood ? so the magnetic mines could not attach themselves to a steel hull

...burt reynolds had no problems handling his many personal & movie use powerboats. we sold him a new 22 outboard, all red gelcoat, velocity, in 1985. or was it 1986? can't remember. he asked if we could mold in a spoiler into the top the plexiglas windsheild, because the wind coming off the top edge hit him right at his forehead, which affected his toupe. we designed one in, and it then officially became known as the "toupe saver" option from then out. of course, new customers would see it at the factory, and others had to have it, after that. he later had a new regal 40 commodore docked behind his house in jupiter, among many other boats. burts nickname was buddy, not many called him burt...

I think he makes the cut, dangerous operator and oversexed wife and an italian last name. I'm sure there were songs composed on that Apache.
BTW I had no clue that Burt Reynolds had a toupe or a 22 OB ......too funny
