Thanks Greg! I remember my old computer in my shop taking forever to load up videos. I'd work on my boat while waiting on dial up.

Scream and Fly is the reason I started using a computer, I never liked typing, I used to have a girl do that for me, It's a girl's job,

    Then computers came out

As the former owner of four Hydrostreams, including their factory 81 Havasu race boat, which I raced in 82, I was on the Hydrostream website when the topic of Scream and Fly came up.

My original 2001 screen name was Hammer

    Congratulations

I first met Greg at the Jasper Race Hotel parking lot. He was parked next to a Goat corral. He drove in late at night, and the hotel was full, so he drove around back and went to sleep. We used to joke that the Goats were there for lonely truckers. So I woke up early to get ready to race, and Greg was sleeping near the Goats.

    Any Port in a storm

Later that weekend Greg spent time on the starting barge taking pictures while I was there putting up numbers for the race boats so we got to chat...

    He has unbelievable Patience,

the best place to buy used outboard HP stuff.

Oh man I can't believe you found this pic. That was the first time the boat went into the water. That ride was very short because the Weldon fuel pump began to leak a bit. I forgot about this photo. Really cool to see it.

    Greg,

Its been a fun hobby, made lots of friends, and creates a smile like NO other with every stab of the throttle as we roll out in the open air. What amazes me the most is that you were only 12 years old when you started shooting with Helmut and all of the guys back in NY LOL.... That makes you 37 right?

    Joe
