It’s a big departure from what the others are doing. Like most tuff’s you aren’t likely to see a bottom picture, but it is VERY different. Designed to eat rough water with huge frontal area on the sponsons, a deep (by far the deepest) tunnel and from the looks of it also more speed than its competitors.

Much Respect for Tuff Marine. Boats built by a former hardcore offshore Prostock racer is a win win.

I seen it in person as well, many cool new ideas and I think it will be a giant success! How fast are the other twin 300 boats of a similar size?

I think a 32 DW is an ~ 120 mph boat with 300R’s …. Paul or Joe would know.

Cool boat. The more options the better.

Just remember the SS race boat must meet the safety cell requirements which add weight,

The class weight was 4,300 lbs, now 4,900 lbs,

So I don't know what weight the Tuff was tested at, but make it weigh 4,900 lbs to do your test

Because that is the class Minimum.

The first turn for that class is always edgy.

I've seen you drive an Allison. Yours will probably run low/ mid 80s.

This boat is dimensionally legal. It weighs 5300 lbs as tested dry. Consider that merc has “stock” ecu’s that have reduced compensations and 40 more hp….
