It is a really cool looking boat with great reviews from WaterSki Magazine:

I can't imagine how many heads you could turn pulling skiers on the lake then ripping down the lake at 80+ mph later. How often do these boats come around for sale? Do you know of any for sale? Where else could someone find one?

Look on here and the various Facebook marketplace for sale groups for them. (Hydrostream groups and performance boat groups) There will be times you will see none, and then all of a sudden there are like 3-4 for sale.

The one thing about an HST is the cockpit is TINY... like barely room for two guys to stand up. There is no room to even lay a ski down between the front seats (they are touching).

Also, the gunnel is VERY wide... you don't just reach over the side and grab a floating ski like you can in a Vegas or Venus.

And they really are kind of awkward to get in & out of from the water over the side or the back.

I think the HST is just great to get in and out. The deck at the rear almost floats level to the water...

I modified the deck to have a bit more cockpit room and made it centersteer. Been many times on the water with 4 adults and 2 kids. Yes its cramped but it´s possible. The sponsons are open. Enough space for ski´s, fenders, ropes...
