She spins 26 pitch 1.5 bravo1s stock props @ 4800 rpm. 65 mph any day fresh water(1 person or 5, she doesn’t care). I’ve seen 71 out of her. Funny deal is my friend had a scarab panther with the same power train and I would walk away from him a good 5mph faster. These 30s like hydromotive props and have heard 74+ mph with them and recently using a shorty lower raising the x dimension getting close to 80, but it’s just talk. Jeff Ziemer on this board had a nice 89 with mag ho’s and it ran 80. She kills the rough water.
Thanks

I believe my son's 30 Velocity ran a strong 80 on the limiters with a pair of Hydromotive
Props. Very good handling boat in a light chop.

The Hydromotive props, These props 4 blade, depends on pitch and diameter? May want to get more HP on the stock engines . Maybe bore to .030 to get 400 HP?
The Bravo One drives stock, or do they have beefier gears to handle more HP? The outdrives could handle up to 500 Hp each.

Hoz, 454/330s is not a good platform for mods. Cast crank although I believe it can handle 400hp but I wouldn’t recommend it. The velocity pad hull is slippery fast. Both myself and previous owner put a lot of time and scrilla to keep her looking and running good. The bravos are stock no hoodus mods there. I would bet you can get another 700 plus hours out of the motors. Thanks for commenting. I used to live near you in Fairfield NJ!
Thanks

330s are oval port heads, cast pistons and cast crank. Good reliable motors but were never designed for more then what they are "good dependable motors".

One of my favorite Vees!
Have a friend w/one w/hot 454’s and shorty Bravos and is right at 80.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Thanks y’all for supporting this thread! No too many of these around. Pad bottom, mitred and stepped transom she has been one of my favorites. If it doesn’t sell I will end up putting hp500s 525s or 575scis eventually.
Thanks again for the support

I think the HP 500's will be a great choice! May have to beef up gears in the Bravo out drives?
