Need opinions on cutting or leaving it stock
If you were looking for a little more speed and have a 225 promax with slide and brucato would you
A= just rebuild motor
B= cut to 260
C=cut to 280
D= buy a 300xs

I agree with David. A Promax with Brucato and SVS is a beast on my Allison. As Rock said, what boat do you have it on?

Sounds like a good fit for the Promax. I would keep it and re-build it if it needs it.

Got a buddy with a Rocket. Took his 280 off and put a 300xs. From what I know he likes it. Its a good bit faster too and better fuel economy
