The big question is, which S&F member will put one on a STV or Allsion and shoot for 200 MPH - LOL

    Hi!

Its seems to that the 450R is not part of the product line any more. So now its 300-400-500R´s.

Have any testet the 400R against the 450R?

"Stay tuned the game isn't over....however if you think things are expensive now then you will surely have another sticker shock coming in the future."

    Hey Joe P,

I was down in Ft Lauderdale/Miami awhile back and got the full visual dose of Merc Hi performance boat opulence at that LOTO level. Wow!

By the way, Back to my post last winter...I wanted to let you know that I've not heard anything back on my pre-order inquiry regarding the new Mercury Lightweight 300hp/350lb. Electric outboard. I expected that to be here by now.

Perhaps the holdup might be the new (2ft square) smaller footprint 88lb. battery that comes standard with the rigging kit. I'm expecting a full recharge in 1 hour at 110v/30amp. Got the charger setup on my boat lift already. The electric power steering by wire seems very cool. Expecting the 2000 volt/40amp 100% duty cycle system with the push button full ground fault reset. All for a $199/mo Subscription on a 2 year contact with over the air soft wear upgrades.

Screaming along at full pedal with no power loss for 8 hrs would be the ****. I have my earbuds ready to plug into the standard 280 sound track the follows my Bluetooth paired foot throttle inputs. Let me exhale a minute...

I just know this is coming.

When the 100kwhr battery in a tesla weighs 100lbs, it will be the time for an electric outboard.
Currently you can drive a 100kw outboard for 1 hr with a 1000lbs of battery if we take a tesla as having a cutting edge battery.
Just a bit of reality for ya ll.
