Throat cancer

Rough week, went in last Thursday for the chemo port and about the same time lost my ability to swallow even water. So the hydrated me and put in the chemo port and feeding tube.... Spent 4 days in the hospital recovering on the awful hospital bed and a few crappy nurses. Could not wait to get out of there. Am on a special nutrient shake that is delivered though the feeding tube along with all the medications and fresh water. they had to cut through my abdomen to get the arthroscopy so I'm in a bit of pain still. Then Chemo started they next day I was out of the hospital. 3 hours of the one drug and a take-home pump of another drug that is administered over a course of 46 hours.

God I hope this works..........

Thoughts and prayers are with you. My dad was predicted to have been gone 6 years ago. Much of it is mental status from you, (everyday is a gift), and the power of prayer is something that I 100% believe in. I am only a few hours from you. ANYTHING that you need or that I can do to help is being offered right now-just let me know what it is and I will make it happen.

I went to church today and when the pastor asked the if anyone had prayer requests I shout out Flatbum.......

My wife was like.....What?....... told her on the way home.... who Flatbum was.....

........And I got it wrong.......Flabum..........Alllways thought it was Flatbum.

This September will be 5 years of my dad not being able to eat or drink tongue and throat cancer everything through a feeding tube everything you can do follow the swallowing doctor on rehab the treatments are harsh I will say a prayer for you
