LOL yes sir... yeah not sure I’m the warranty .. that’s where I was thinking let’s race it in stock for with maybe some faster trim and not touching the gear case and engine itself.. although that sporty is huge so I would defiantly take a sander to that right away and do some “work” to it where work is needed that I can see already

I don't think it will take that but hey lol never know. My gut would be to put it on my mirage River Racer or a T3. Both handle weights with ease.

    I’m not sure I would try a 300R on my 480 pound Jaguar.😬 Maybe a 300F the F stands for Frankstien.

Yes .. a true explorer .. an adventure beyond belief . Makes the Louis ~n~ Clark expedition along with the Louisiana purchase pale by comparison.
Yea .. I get it .. be the first on your block to buy .. what anyone else with cash or credit can have .. your attitude fits right in with the globalist agenda ...

I’ll stick with my drag motor and the 12” housing. Most likely by the time the 300R is a contender I’ll be dead or in a wheelchair.

I never ran a boat motor with carbs. Always EFI. I like EFI because I can tune the fuel from the dash.
It takes too much energy to go back and change jets.

This conversation makes me think of my grandfather and his green two stroke lawn boy mower. I gave him a new honda mower for christmas one year and he refused to use it because it was "high tech" which meant self propelled, started on half a pull, no oil mixing, no smoke, smooth and quite lol. This might be a distant relative of mine LOL. If my grandfather was still alive, he would be getting this link sent his way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptfm8SCXJKo
He made my brother and I push a couple of those rattle traps around for 10 years before I tried to put an end to it with the Honda. "might be why I have bad hearing".

I was never a fan of the four stroke outboards when all we had was the verado. -We had never seen a single application run well (a lot to do with the small displacement and lack of propellers) but then engineer Mike and Hydro started running triple digits with 23 eliminators that normally needed twin 260s to do that and it got my attention. Like the lawn boy, there is an easier way to get the job done in most cases.

We will be there on the 26th for a week if there is snow. I talked to Brian at Gogebic Lodge and there is already 4 inches of ice on the lake. We will fly into Appleton and drive up "you guys are more then welcome to join us". Brett, did you ever try to repair that 34 dewald I gave you? I obviously have not lost any sleep over it, just curious.

Let me know if you can come up for a few days. Maybe we can get Larry and Casey to come up for a couple days as well.

    Joe
