Being Thankful

I know its not Thanksgiving. But who says we cant be thankful everyday? A friend of mine told me that if you start are in a bad way/mood and start thanking God for things..........it will change your mood.

I am thankful for the sleep I got last night. It wasnt what I wanted, but it could have been worse

I am thankful for being alive and that I am in my right mind

........that I have all my digits on my hands and feet..even though some have taken some major nicks!!

........that all my body still works.....even if I am sore and achy cause I am older.

........that I am still happily married for 26 years and I love her more than ever

........that I was blessed with three wonderful men(my kids)

....... thankful to have made friends here and the funny moments and not so funny moments as well

....... thankful to see my need to be thankful

....... thankful to God for His forgiveness and kindness to me and everyone(because I mess up all the time...with Him and with others))

...... thankful to see my need to love people and show kindness

....... thankful for second chances

...... thankful to be able to share here

Sound perspective and attitude we all have much more to be thankful for than not. Gotta make the best out of each day. Some days the best is just sitting doing nothing you can still make that a good experience if you choose too

I thank God for all I have. There are so many worse off than me and I pray for them.
It's easy to feel like you have it rough or are a victim, we see people do it everyday. But there is always someone worse off than you, so don't feel sorry for yourself, pray for those worse off than you. Be grateful for what you have and that you live in a good country.
