I have not seen any corrosion in the area I use the hi heat silicone. Gaskets are not burnt out either. And that was the purpose of using hi heat silicone. I do use the aviation goop on my bolts to stop corrosion.

X2 on that, I havnt seen any issues either. I’m thinking if it’s air tight and doing it’s job, not gonna have a problem. If it ain’t sealing, maybe a different story. Ultra copper is one of the few sealers that can take the heat around the exhaust. It’s a common practice in the automotive performance world to use the copper on headers on aluminum heads in place of header gaskets, because it holds up 100 times better.

I've seen and done that with copper rtv on headers and aluminum heads also.
I have used copper permatex antiseize on fasteners for 20 years and never had an issue either

Havnt tried that, but it’s some good stuff too. We used to put it on some old European engine that had a copper head gasket, if you didn’t, it was guaranteed to leak. For the life of me, I can’t remember which engine it was

As long as you get enough glue on your clothes, hands, pistons and valves ... it should work "mov-U-loss" ... No matter how much time and effort was put into designing the gasket to be used dry ...
