    235 emblems

    My buddy thats doing that beautiful resto on the V-king, desperately wants some of the die cast 235 emblems if someone has some, Lars gave him a tip but there gone.
    Here's his hood all repainted but with the 175's it came with

    There is no V King that is rated for 235 so stay with the 175 it will be a sleeper.

    He contacted that guy about a month ago and told him he'd pay his asking price, but put the emblems in a box and ship those and throw the rest in the garbage and he said nope "local pick up only" ! AND he's in Colorado!

    How about finding somebody with a 3D printer ? A school that teaches that kind of thing may be looking for small student projects.

    I have restored a bunch of old motrs just keep the part number in an ebay search and new ones will probably show up some day , amazing what i have bought NOS..

    The 1979 235hp Evinrude and 1990 V8 300 XP are my all time favorite outboard motor cowlings. Nothing comes close to them.

    Post more pictures if you have them. I would buy a mint condition cowl just to have and then build the engine if I came across the right deal.
