A lot of people love them. The only new car I have ever bought was a Toyota Celica. At 50K, after the warranty ran out of course, some screws came loose in the intake throttle body plate right where the intake attached to the head. Several screws and one throttle body plate was digested by the engine causing internal damage. This was totally Toyota's fault. They would not do a damn thing. I patched it back together myself and even made a throttle plate cause Yota didn't sell the separate. The part was well over $1,500.

I will walk before I drive another Yota.

If your driving a F.o.r.d, chances are good. ;-)

The old chebby vs ferd war still goes on after all these years. hahaha My garage has a Camaro and a Mustang that live together quite peacefully. Both good cars. Camaro's much faster, but it ain't stock.....Mustang gets 21mpg and ac though. Both have good points.

How about before EFI... The constant velocity carb FAILURE the Frauds used in the 80's... At least the quadrajets had some electric $hit you could bypass.

I have a super clean 02 35th Anniversary Z28 (less than 50K on the clock) sitting beside a '72 911S. So I am diversified. Ask me what I would rather go for a romp in though!!!?

How do all the above posts agree with JD Powers research and awards?
The whole industry looks at them in the UK, they do various years of models so you get a very good insight to ownership issues over the and how the dealers performed.

Got our first one in today, no need to remove wheel to access filter. I took pictures but can't upload them for some reason? Anyways, it's accessible from underneath no problem, and on flat ground if wheel is turned enough to get an arm in.

The 1 we got in is a Lariat, looks fully loaded. Basically a mini F-150. Rear legroom reminds me of the Hummer H3, as in you need flexibility to get in and once you're there I doubt you'll be comfortable for long. I didn't get a chance to drive it today, they had 4 appointments on it as it was pulled off the delivery truck. We (techs) had about 10 mins to look over it before it went on the lot. Shoulder room in front is tight, and I'm 5'10" 175 lbs. Looks like new front and rear axles, the 2.3 turbo has been one of the best ecoboost motors we've had, with the 10 speed it should all work fairly well. Nicer than my brother's Frontier, that's for sure lol... Would be interesting to have a similarly equipped Colorado and Ranger side by side...

Worked this time... I'm holding back the rubber "access panel", you can see the filter behind it. Nothing to burn yourself on, all the hot sh!t is on the other side of the engine

Dodge is the only one in the game as far as performance in anything other than a muscle car. Chevy used to have the typhoon, the Colorado came with a V8 (I own one), Dodge has the R/T Durango. Jeep has the trackhawk Cherokee. Dodge used to make the SRT-10 ram... It's like all the big car makers got CHICKEN SHlT !

So what's in my driveway now?
    2003 Chebby Tahoe.
    2011 Chebby Colorado.
    2019 GMC Acadia (wife's).

I tired ford . . . Had an SVT focus. Thing looked sharp and was decently quick for a little hatchback... WHEN IT RAN. Literally everything broke on it, and only 100k miles.
The worst design is Ford's Cam Phaser technology to move cams with oil pressure. Impossible to re-align, and EXPENSIVE parts.
