Does the 26 you tried have vent holes? Some air across the prop might let it spin up.

Motor is too heavy for the boat.

Can you run the same diameter? Just the shaft size is different, smaller? As in being able to use any flotorqe prop with your specific insert.

She was kneeling on the seat. Momma came out and hollered at me that she could fall out if she stood up, and I was being a bad dad. But the pic was worth it haha. And Thx!

Yes it has the vent holes, and they're open. It has a lot of rake though, which is probably not helping if I need stern lift in lieu of this bow-lifting prop.
The jack plate is maxed out right now. I am definitely going to raise the motor up a few bolt holes, so I can continue to raise the motor higher with the jack plate.
Why are cleaver props considered more stern lifting compared to choppers, or regular props? Anyone have one laying around to borrow?1) 1995 14' Bayliner Restoration <--Click

You built a fine boat. The test and tune part is always a part of a new build. Some wedges added to the hull on the trailing edge will do a lot for lift. Some epoxy putty added to the last few inches of the sponsons could be added and adjusted to correct the ride. Rare to get it perfect w/o some tuning.

Your speed numbers are consistent with the prop slip calculators. Definitely try 3 blade cleavers I'd say 14" diam x 20-23" pitch. What's the bare hull weight ?

I've done a bit of research, and coming up short.
The mercury through-hub cleaver such as 48-77094-23p or the 48-74602-23p and 48-74601-23p ... I can't get any true specs on these props.
Anyone know the size of the hub? Is it meant for the little 60hp racing motor?
They are 15 spline, which would fit my shaft. And I have the standard lower, not the big command thrust.
I guess if I want more bow-lift, I need less rake. But I can't find specs on these props anywhere. There's a lot available on ebay too.1) 1995 14' Bayliner Restoration <--Click

Stern lift less rake, over hub if higher pitch

I'm thinking the mercury racing motors have the "big-foot" 15-spline lower units? So that should be the same as my standard lower unit 15 spline?
Because my 115 next size up lower unit is the command-thrust... I don't know how many splines.
Just wish I could find more info on these through-hub cleaver props that are only $150~ ish and plentiful on ebay.1) 1995 14' Bayliner Restoration <--Click
