i never see anyone bare footing these days ,i wish i had my camera running the other day to show i had 6 to 9 pontoons in my vision at all times and 1/2 of them were going 30 + and if they see me hop a wave they call the water cops, then i get pulled over and questioned for being reckless

I’m gonna have a chat with the boys in brown. Probably won’t do any good but I’m gonna tell em that I’m the minority now! It works for the Brutha’s! What the hell!

Looks like Micheal is taking to the old story aboot the two bulls at the top of the hill...(pg-13 version)
"No son, let's take the tritoon to Moonlight bay, and bring them all back to the cabin."
Fact of the matter is that these ain't your granpappys pontoons. They're fast, handle, have a ton of features, and can bring the whole crew along. What floors me is when I see a new toon with twins being pulled by a new SUV, you've got aboot the same amount as my first mortgage rolling down the road. Someone either knows something I don't, or is broke as f**k!Last edited by John S; 09-04-2018 at 08:26 PM.

I know, Right!!! I make good money but Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, how in the hell can ya afford at least 150,000$ for a LTZ suburban and a 30’ twin engine Tri-toon . I’m doing something wrong. My only thing is that the inland lakes in lower michigan/indiana, my home turf range from 700 - 1500 acres. i can see having a monster toon on a 5000-20,000 acre lake. I’m moving down to Dallas where we’ll be running Lake Ray Hubbard, 22,000 acres. Hell, I might get one, but ya better believe the TRIAD will be moored to it. The toon can be the weekend cottage on the water, and the V21 will do the business!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love our pontoon boat for all the good reasons and one more ….Sturgeon Protection !! I won't use my fast boats on the Suwannee anymore between the months of April - November due to the chances of being hit . The pontoon loads up a bunch of people , the dog etc and with the addition of a 2.0 liter 150 we have broken the 30 mph barrier !!

I’ll take the pontoons over the wakeboard morons. Zero courtesy, respect, or consideration

Well I am 64 and been boating 59 years. Learned to barefoot behind a 58 Lonestar with a 50Evinrude Mark IV at 13. And we litterally boated Fri Sat Sun every weekend from April to Oct and spent a week of each month of the summer camped out. And my dad use to boat down all the marinas so we could look at the boats. Now days I have 3 wood boats, cc Mako fishing boat and a Hydrostream Venom with 300xs and I hate both toons and wakeboard boats. I hate toons because they have no charachter cant tell one from the other it could be 10 years old. And like I told the Lake Patrol the other day if I were a sniper I would blow the speakers or motor out of a wakeboard boat. I am so tired of the blasting of stereos at midnight and during the day while hanging out at the beach. But then again thats just me.
