40 miles out of the glades....on plane. The merc 225 EFI didn't even know the other boat was behind it. Ate a LOT of gas though.
83 V-King, 96 Mariner, ff block 2.5 w/a 28p chopper
Ain't it great to have papa TRUMP back at the helm?

Seattle to Canton, OH was my longest tow. Canton to TN was just normal for vacations.

Bearings, seals and grease.
Ive done 1100 miles, non stop, Ohio to Fla (and back) multiple times on cruise at 80 w/the small boats and 70 - 75 w/the big ones.
Good mirrors and brakes in the tow pig and a good trailer kit for the trailer.
I carry tire plug kits, fix a flat, jack, fuses, bulbs etc....
Got to be able to trust it at speed, at night when you can't even see it.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

I just redid my trailer, bunks, lights, bearings and tires....no spare, but dig the idea of plugs, pump and fix a flat.

You'll want a spare. I take one w/me to p/u anything w/o one.
Hit something on road at night etc, I don't travel w/o a spare.
Most expensive flat you'll ever have is one on trailer, on road w/o a spare.
Blew a tire on my first Sonic on NY turnpike on way home (after buying it) w/no spare.
Very exspensive fix.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

Yea ! Guess i am draggin my boat 3,000 miles....6 weeks tell my move and the OD in my SUV decides to take a dump.At that point i figure it's a sign from above ! So i post my boat for sale while there is still good weather left,i price it so i will have no sellers remorse.Within in days i have 2 very interested buyers and i went out of my way to sabotage the sales and pulled the ad....Yes,you are correct,DI$K MOVE on my part. Some days i wish i could figure me out.

I just did a 5000 mile trip with my triple axle enclosed trailer. I recommend at least 2 spares, a real floor jack and an electric impact at a minimum. On a boat trailer I would probably also have a spare hub ready to go on and a jack stand. I would also recommend new tires, if you can get an all steel belted tire in your size I would get those. My tires were in good shape and had never given me any problems until this last trip. I blew 3 before I made it to Moab, UT. I replaced all 6 with 14 ply all steel belted tires while in Moab and had zero problems on the way home.

As for the Libtard thing, its kind of funny seeing how it was a nightmare out here during the whole Trump thing, from riots to Dump Trump stickers on every bumber....Now adays, people actually saying they like the way things are...But off course the whole " does not mean that i like him " gets tossed in there LOL.I will miss the vibe out here, lots of good people and fun to be had (things like the Portland naked bike ride and such)but i will not miss the thin skinned spineless chit talking lazy do nothing entitled biotches AT ALL.They are plentiful in these parts....and the homeless thing is just out of control, the stench can take your breath away on a hot day !
