Around here theres a lot boat renters from CB's boat rental. You always see them trying to get on plain with the motor trimmed too high and also they are always stuck on shallow water sand bars. I mean its every time I go out I see both happen
I cant tell you how manys times ive idled over to them and told them that they need to trim the motor down and how to do it. And these are all yankees from up north on vacation.

my boat is referred to the local police/ sheriff and DNR Warden as there is a idiot out here going fast and jumping pontoon wakes is what i,m told there are minimum 5 calls in the 4 hours i,m out and 2 hours i,m sitting at the beach watching all the dangerous people out there

Watched the guy across the river from me yesterday. Backed his pontoon off the hoist and turned to sharp and got the motor in the mud along his seawall. He left it in gear and walked to the front and rocked it. I was surprised at how much throttle it had, and so was he when it started to go. He ran to the wheel, but it slammed into the back poles of his hoist before he got to it.
