Motor is important, but imo, the bottom is the secret to the higher speeds. Very nice boat, and motor.

thanks fellas!!! if anyone knows me ...they know how much time i put into it.....alot of failures. setup has more in it....and motor definitely has more in it (aint pushing it hard cause im sick of scattering em!)

my goals were a 104/105 pass and consistent 102

need to dial setup in (think im a 1/4" off in height)
coned gear case would be faster too

    Yep

When I had mine I got to mid 90's fairly easily, high 90's after a bazillion more trips to the ramp and I think another yr to get that last few mph'.

What does the hull do when you hit about 90 going up to 100? Are you trimming down a little? Just curious....

i have a flat pad with an ally pencil roll added. .. about .050"

i usually have to trim up. .. bumping it all the way till 100

previously i was running a 28 drag 3..... clicked 100 with it a handful of times. .... the boat ran nose high......i hit 98 all day and had to bump it up twice to get the trips. ... one of those " should i or shouldn't i things" lmao

last run i swapped to a 30ET and boat flattened out

    see the difference

with the flattened pad this boat has difficult time lifting the ass.....the lip helps and also helps keep it from kiting (which it used to kite at 90 alot)

i still need some seat time with the ET and maybe 1 or 2 adjustments in height... (the boat hunts running about 60....i think the gear case is digging then letting go...especially if im overtrimmed=gearcase nose lower)

Thanks for the fine tuning and driving tips. The pointy nose streams seem to run faster having a little "help" with stern lift. You obviously have it tuned perfect for your balance also. Side steer streams going 100 are fairly rare.

ive ran a drag 4 on this boat before (although it had different mod on pad not roll) and that prop drove and carried the boat well...if you need tail lift thats a badass prop....i was gonna give the ET a fair shot and retort to the drag 4 if needed

balance is key....cut the end off a dumbell set...glassed it in the wing...so i could stack weights as needed for balance ...think i have 20lbs over there. i can hold boat wide open for miles in a slight left hand bend......no input......going dead straight it takes a lil driving
