    Lets you use high rake props without the snout. If you just swap to the small snout you kill top end with back pressure and can't take advantage of the prop. Building it above is what you need for flow. The motor hates the small high clearance snout above 4500, will load up. Of course only applies to non stacker exhaust.

    Running fine , Chuck has done a super job working his 140 big bore long stroke as shown in posts above. Not completely dialed in but he says a real top end runner. Running very conservative ign timing on this run. Still another 5 degrees of advance to go and not worried.

    There was a 150 Chrysler stacker on an E & T tunnel at Springfield this weekend. It ran pretty good.

    Ran recently, 95/96 mph 7000rpm, 15 pitch. Will turn more prop and feels 100+ easy. Still not fully dialed, will switch to MSD, Mallory or like ign.

    vintage ran as an adjunct to F1 & fol. lght, seems my chry. was only pulling 4 cyl. above75 would then come on strong, was dogging out of corners, course was kinda wierd,square with a rh. turn& windy !!!! made it back to Md. before 10 pm,traffic was heavy on270 & 495 at dc !!!
