You guys think this 260 was overheated

Hose connection apparently came out, off the end of the hose. Engine was still idling

? Do you mean the end of the hose came out of the flusher? Where it threads into the flusher? Like stripped threads ? Just trying to figure out what happen'd because i swear by these flusher's and if I can prevent the same thing in my future I want to

The engine had 10 hours on it since rebuild, it was running on the hose and he walked away while on a phone call, needless to say something happened and the flusher came off. Expensive lesson is not to leave a running engine unattended

Here you say the flusher came off. Not trying to be critical, im just trying to better understand what actually failed. Thanks

I talked to him yesterday afternoon, his was the one that the flusher did come off, apparently the bungee strap in the front pulled through the hole in the plastic and flusher came off. I have a hard time remembering which calamity went to which person!
