A resolution in the Bill Gohr matter
So a successful mediation was achieved about thirty minutes ago. With the assistance of the deputies of Lake County Sheriff's Office, my family finally got the parts from Gohr. As per Bill's request, I have deleted my previous thread. Good luck to everyone here and I hope this concludes a nightmarish few weeks. Happy boating, guys.

Since you deleted the thread, nobody will know what went on. Please describe it here for future reference, step by step, ending with using the Sheriff for resolution.

Glad you got help from the local authorities. They were of no help to me in a similar matter involving the same individual. He preys on folks from out of state.

Hopefully, this individual learned. ..you can't screw over a tight knit community. Then again, there is no no fix for stupidity

That reminded me of that boat dude from the south about two yrs ago that was selling materials to bad people for making bombs and the FBI nailed him good. I forgot about that one. Its been a while, I wonder what his outcome was. LOL

If you want a little more texture to these repeated threads on Gohr go to this link:

Search on Person, William Gohr, 01-09-59. Search from 1980 until the present. Interesting, and lengthy, read. These are public records. Consider this a PSA from yours truly.Last edited by LongShot; 05-04-2017 at 09:39 PM.

The cat has now exited the bag.....just remember, those records are only in Lake County, Ill. There appears to be more in other jurisdictions. Now we know the rest of the story.

If CNN (ConstantNegativeNews) were involved, they could dig up dirt on just about anyone.

So does Bill have an active account here or has he been removed?
I ask because I'm on the Checkmate forum as well and he has an active account there. He answers technical questions about Motors occasionaly and gives valuable advice when he does. Now I just think he is fishing for business when he helps out. Because I now know better the only thing I would let him do for me is free advice, but I'm wondering if others there need to be warned.08 Checkmate 2100br 250xs
