Screaming Eagle Boats Mark's Talon 22 SS
I thought it would be easier for those that just wanted to follow particular boats or stories to create separate threads for each one.
This is Mark's Talon that just got finished up here a couple of weeks ago and he is rigging himself. So here are some pictures and I will post Mark's progress on the rigging.
These are pictures the day it left with Mark and his wife.
Thank you, Karen

Sneeze?????? You lost me there.
We've been making progress. Finished all the steering, dash and console stuff and should have the rest of the mechanicals done this weekend then I start on the electrical and buttoning up everything. Hoping to get wet by the end of the month if work allows.Mark

He is referring to the mist that an STV will give out the front at low speeds and the answer is no. The boat looks great-looking forward to running with you guys

Here are some "in flight" rigging photos. Since I only get weekends, for the most part, to work on this it's going slower than expected but it's getting there. Most of the rear section is done, just waiting on a harness to button up the motor connections, install hose, etc. Space planning for the power distribution was "fun" and I'm going to dress it a bit more but the layout works. Since I have 5 main power drops, Battery, Motor, Power Steering, Jack Plate and House power I went with 600A buss bars with the motor and battery sharing a common terminal so power isn't going to be an issue. The Starboard side houses the power steering pump and oil reservoir, the Port side is all about electrical. I wanted to minimize the number of holes in the rear but with needing to route jack plate power, jack plate height gauge and a sonar transducer cable it necessitated it's own drop but I found a really well made waterproof SS clamshell from Scanstrut. http://scanstrut.com/products-22/electrical-accessories
Work moves to the front this week to dress in all the wiring and interconnects.Last edited by mjw930; 03-20-2017 at 08:43 AM.
