    Cheapest canopy possible, I only had to pay for the tarp. The lights were left over from a job and the lumber is ripped down dumpster dived white wood Click image for larger version.

    Sorry no photos to share from 1984. So you will just have to stare at this photo and be creative.
    1984 me and my buddy were driving my 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 back to MN from CA. About half way the motor died because the mechanical fuel pump took a turd. Somehow we got to a Kmart and bought a tire pump, a long rubber hose and duct tape. Thats all it took. Who ever was the passenger had to pump the tire pump which the hose ran out the back window to the fuel filler which we took off the cap and wrapped duct tape around it with the air hose going into the fuel tank. Just pump the air pump and you have fuel pressure. We were barely 19 years old. But it worked. Biggest downfall was filling the tank, you had to undo your duct tape work and re do it every time. I'm sure there is nobody that has ever pumped a tire pump for three days straight to this day.
