    Euroski, it does. Thanks.

Keeps getting better. Just got the 2nd replacement motor and..........., it's also wrong.
The one on the left is correct.

Sent a 5 watt motor to replace the 50 watt that died.

    Tried that.
It has a housing pressed on the nose that covers the assembly screws. Tried to pop it off but not w/o destroying it.

I have another one due NDA tomorrow.

Maybe it's time for a face to face chat with the manager of the store you bought it at?

Have him open up a new unit and then he can swap your burned out motor, then he can send it back as defective.

    I mean it's only 2 weeks old.

Sorry you are going through this BS, you were so pumped about it when you first got it. They need to be made aware of how many people have access to this and that will not be good advertising for them .
Hope you get it fixed and glad the failure didn't burn you down.

    FMP - um, no

W2F, special order. Twice size of their biggest stocked unit.
    As in, nothing would work.

    Dave, no worries mate.

So many things today are like that. Good for a short while then junk. I've been down that path many times lately and now I say a little prayer evertime I buy something new under my breath before I get to the cash. Light the wood stove.

Mine ran for two weeks (perfectly) before the blower motor went out! Called King electric in Seattle, the manufacturer, semi-knowledgeable tech guy said he would send me a replacement motor no problem. Week and a half later I got it and he sent me the freaking wrong one!

Call them again and it went into voicemail. left him a message did not hear back all day.

Called Menards where I bought it from they said call the manufacture. They did say to call them back if I didn't get satisfaction. So after several more attempts I got a live body on the phone at King electric and says he'll get one right out and apologize for the problems. I pushed on his definition of expedited and he said it was late to get it in the days mail.
It is now been three business days after his expedited shipment and no blower motor.

When the blower motor went out on the electric one the heating elements remained on. I could smell them getting hot. If I Hatten been in the shop when it happened it probably would've overheated and caught fire without kicking the breaker and burn my shop down!
Well that bites! Hope ya get it all worked out.

Gary You may want to test it out without the fan to be sure it DOES shut down ......so if this happens again when you are NOT there it won't burn down! As my dad would have said "lifes too short to take known chances....even more so the older you get". Be careful buddy as we all care! Gary

I still like the design and am fairly confident I can get it working right. Question is only how much I do on my own.
I told them about this thread and it got no attention.
Clearly it's a company that chiefs have no clue what the Indians are doing.
    And "I don't give a **** attitudes".

Told them yesterday the wrong motor I just got didn't even match the packing slip.
Also clearly didn't listen to my request if making sure new replacement had the correct shaft.

    Robby, they are in Seattle.

Gary, during all this I just caught in the manual saying not to leave it on while unattended.
    Oop's.

That would have been a deal breaker had I caught it.

So now I'll go out w/my first cup of cofffe, Fire it up, go back to the house for cup 2 through 4 then out to the heated barn.
Or use the torpedo to bring it up to temp then shut it off like I was thinking initially.

Right motor arrived, installed and working.

Forgot how much I like this thing.
    When it's working.
