The floor was removed exposing the tanks. The foam surrounding the tanks were removed and the tanks were hoisted out.

Great thread!!! I must say that I love scream&fly for it has allowed me to learn so much from you guys. I love seeing the builds and the custom work by the numerous members of the sight. I have also wondered has anyone ever tried to put an onboard motor in a 21 skater? Can it even fit? It was a question that has always been on my mind.

there's a thread in OS O where this guy went to (or what it looks like) the junkyard for cars, took two automobile engines and installed it into a 24 Skater. looks so awesome the way it turned out.

The guy is obviously mechanically inclined.

The 22 being built (this thread) is capable of handling a single I/O if that is your power of preference.

    ScreamingEagleBoats New 22 foot catamaran

I just got e-mail from Todd on this project. Here is what he sent me:

"The new Edge 22 molds will not be done till about summer. Basically we have taking a 21 Trick and will be cutting it in half and widening it 10'' - 12'' down the center. We will have a center pod option for the boat or just a straight tunnel. We are then going to lengthen the boat 12" and move the driving compartment forward to help offset the heavier 400R or twin 300's. We are reworking a new dash and rear hatch for the boat also.
Feel free to get a hold of me anytime and we will be posting updates on S&F of all the shop projects here shortly. We had Noli doing it, but he has got a new job that has limited his time to do these write ups anymore.
    Thanks,
    Todd"

    I hope that helps.
    Gary

Thanks Gary, great info. Looking forward to how the Edge 22 turns out. This industry needs more boats of this size tailored to a single 400.
