Looking to have a 2.4 merc more power from 5500-7000?

Ken you're already getting good power out of that motor. It'll be a real screamer after you're done with the mods. Shoot, I'm gonna need more OMC horses to run with you next year. I may have to bolt the V8 back on the SK just to keep you in sight.

Posts 29 and 30 are fantastic. I thought Ken (coffeeguy) and I had the same motor originally, I'm going to have to take some measurements and make sure now, this is getting interesting!

I find this mod to do very well with OMC loopers.

Interesting.. I'm starting with non finger port pistons, so cutting them was in my plans. Do you have any dimensions for the slots?

They are cut the same lenth as the booster and 1/2" wide
