The truth of the matter is that you are drag racing running a super light boat with a small pitch prop and your engine runs through the rpm that's affected by spacer so quick your not seeing a big improvement on the clock which I bet it is still there, just not as drastic. Where this guy that is only turning 6000 rpm and pulling a 29 pitch prop would see much more gains in acceleration than you would. This is just one those variables I speak of. It's not I'm right, your wrong. It's just two different beast .

It's just an expression noting he would know the difference , not how I justify mods. You need to chill out. No one is arguing your methods of testing. Like I said each situation is different.

So let me get this right , cuz I'm a lil corn-fruzed ...

Your sayin that when RK takes his 18' Action ( post #1 ) and Cervello ( post #2 ) takes his bass boat out , they should turn their 6000 RPM motors to 10,000 RPM ...
How big a natrusss bottle does a feller need , if the sand bar or fishin hole is 40 miles away ..

Timm,I expect your running something with a horn front? If so I don't think the spacer helps your motor as much as much as a carb or laser front motor, because your motor already has a straight path in the intake tract, unlike the carb motors.Top end will most likely be governed by carb size, but the acceleration curve is improved...so says my butt,Chris

Ok, if my mota will turn 6800 with a 26 os chopper but only 6000 with my 29srx, then will the tighter heads make a difference? I guess that's what I was trying to ask. I know adding compression won't add rpm.

I'm not expecting it to run like my promax, just like to see it turn the srx maybe 63-6400, is that within reason?

Adding some compression is one of the mods most people do , no matter if it's an outboard or a car motor.
It "should" let you turn a bigger prop a few more rpm's.
I never run an outboard with less than 145psi.
