How do they work with a 3-liter? Would a 300XS or 250XS be a good motor for them?
And what was the last year they were built in quantity? (I know one was built as a "special favor" recently)

I sure like mine with the 300xs. So far it is consistent 10+ mph faster than the 260 that was originally on it. That being said my hull (#002) is probably 300+ pounds heavier than most of the other V-21's out there so the bigger block is a big plus - especially with 3 or more people in the boat.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my search. I found a really clean 21' Cougar W/ 225 pro max sport. So the hunt for a clean v21 has ended for now... Hopefully some day I will get to ride in a v21, and that might reopen the hunt??? All the striping in the gel, and interior is a lot like the v21. I'm not sure why the photos loaded this way?
